Fiona Jordan

Fiona holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Counselling (with Distinction) and offers confidential, in-person, Person-centred counselling, for individuals over 18 years of age.

 

She supports people from all walks of life who, for many different reasons, are suffering and want a change for the better, or who are ready for change and wish to explore possibilities.

 

Clients bring a diverse range of personal concerns including abuse, anxiety, bereavement, childhood adversity, depression, health issues, loss in many different forms, personal development, relationship issues, self esteem, stress, trauma, work related issues.

 

Fiona is experienced in working with clients affected by cancer and other long term health conditions, supporting patients, survivors, family members, carers and the bereaved.

 

Her work with mid-life and older adults includes bereavement and other losses, fears about illness and death, loneliness and the challenges of ageing.

Fiona has a non-judgmental, deeply compassionate approach characterised by honest communication and the utmost respect for your experience because you are the only true ‘expert’ on you. Her role is to support you in sharing and exploring your thoughts and feelings, at your own pace, and she will work collaboratively with you so that you can better understand your needs and how you can meet them.
